Kajaria Ceramics reported consolidated revenue of ₹1,328 crore for Q1 FY27 — up 20.4% year-on-year — and consolidated PAT of ₹171 crore, a 56% jump from ₹110 crore in Q1 FY26, announced July 31, 2026. EBITDA margins expanded to 19.60% from 16.72% a year earlier, with management targeting annual EBITDA exceeding ₹1,000 crore at 18–19% margins going forward. Volume grew 6% year-on-year — a slower quarter driven by a challenging April — but management guided double-digit volume growth for the remaining nine months of FY27. The board approved a brownfield expansion at Gailpur, Rajasthan adding 11 MSM of annual tile capacity for ₹165 crore, to be completed by April 2027, funded entirely from internal accruals — alongside a ₹12.15 crore investment in captive solar energy. Kajaria Bathware has also been cleared to acquire a stake from Aravali Investment Holdings, reinforcing the company’s push into the sanitaryware segment.
What this means for the trade: With 22 MSM of new capacity coming online by early FY28 across Gailpur and Srikalahasti, and management confident enough to target ₹1,000 crore EBITDA, Kajaria is clearly investing for volume leadership — dealers should expect continued range expansion and network push through the rest of FY27.
