Asian Granito India reported consolidated revenue of ₹530.95 crore for Q1 FY27 — up 28.5% year-on-year — with the group returning to profitability at ₹8.08 crore PAT after recording a loss of ₹32.66 crore in Q4 FY26, results filed August 11, 2026. The recovery was led by subsidiaries, whose revenue surged 64.9% to ₹253.18 crore — now accounting for 47.7% of consolidated sales, up from 37.2% a year ago. The Q4 losses had been triggered by temporary plant closures from the Morbi gas crisis and the US anti-dumping duty impact. On a standalone basis, the core tile business grew 7% to ₹277.77 crore with standalone EBITDA margins actually improving to 3.26% from 3.05% — a sign that the flagship operation is stabilising. Consolidated EBITDA margin contracted to 6.19% from 7.74%, reflecting a higher proportion of traded goods through subsidiaries and elevated gas costs. Chairman Kamlesh Patel attributed the performance to ongoing manufacturing capacity expansion and a continued focus on premiumisation.
What this means for the trade: Asian Granito’s headline growth is subsidiary-driven — the core tile business is recovering but growing modestly at 7%. Dealers focused on the flagship AGL product line should track standalone performance rather than consolidated numbers to gauge real demand momentum.
