Kajaria Ceramics Buyback Window Closes Today – Settlement Due July 16

July 9, 2026 Tiles & Ceramics

Kajaria Ceramics’ ₹296.70 crore tender-offer buyback closed today, July 9, 2026, after a seven-day window that opened July 3. The offer covered up to 21.50 lakh equity shares at ₹1,380 per share — a premium of approximately 14–15% to the market price during the tender period, with the stock trading around ₹1,198–1,216 on NSE. Registrar verification is scheduled for July 13, with final acceptance communicated to stock exchanges by July 15 and unaccepted shares returned to shareholders by July 16. The buyback was funded entirely from internal accruals and cash reserves, with promoters choosing not to participate – leaving the full offer available to public shareholders. The exercise follows a strong FY26 in which the company posted consolidated revenue of ₹4,830 crore and PAT of ₹487 crore.

What this means for the trade: A buyback at a 14–15% premium to market, funded from cash reserves after a 65% jump in annual profits, is a clear signal of balance-sheet confidence at India’s largest tile manufacturer — a data point worth citing when dealers are discussing supply reliability and long-term commitment with builder accounts.
